Please put Dolly Thompson on the prayer chain she is in her eighties and had a fall, she has bleeding on the brain and there is nothing more they can do for her. She has been placed in Hospice and she is only expected to last about 3 more days. Please pray for her comfort and peace. Also, keep her husband Ed in prayer.

Please pray for the family of Rick Tatum. He was killed on July 2nd in Marathon in a boating accident, leaving 3 daughters, age 14, 16 & 18 (1st marriage) and his current wife, Sheryl. He was only 48 and had no life insurance. Pray for healing and help through this very difficult situation and that his family will find the financial assistance so desperately needed after this tragedy.

John Mullens called and asked that his sister Wanda Midkiff be put on the prayer chain.  She fell in the tub this morning and it is believed that she may have had a stroke.  Please keep her and her family both near and far in your prayers.

Also, keep Helen and Ed Bass in your prayers.  Both have not been feeling well for some time now.  They have seen the doctor and he has placed them on antibiotics.  Whatever they have does not seem to want to go away.  Please pray that it is not pneumonia and that they may get well soon.

Dear Lord please hear these praises we lift up to you today: Safe travels for Ambour Rose, the gift of my life and the gift of all life, for giving me the opportunity to take part in Holy Thursdays Last Supper, for the wonderful success in Immokolee this last weekend, for all our blessings, for God's love, forgiveness and grace, the race for the cure they raised over $700,000.  And to know this will help in the fight against breast cancer, Thank you Lord for all your blessings you provide to each and everyone of us, in your we pray Amen.

Please add Chris Simmons to your prayers.  He is the son of a friend of mine.  He had been home from school sick and his lungs collapsed.  He died in the ambulance on the way to Cleveland Clinic but they were able to bring him back.  He is now in a medically induced coma.  Please keep him and his family (mom Dana, dad Charlie and brother Michael and David) in your prayers.

NOTE: Chris passed away yesterday (3/6/08).  He was a student at Golden Gate High School.  Please continue to keep his family in your prayers as they go through the grieving process.

Barb Laudano - she called from her hospital bed and is doing quite well, in fact she will come home today.  The surgery went very well. Thank you all for your prayers and thank you Lord for listening.
 
I also have a prayer request:
Herb Reigler (I don't know if the last name is spelled correctly) has been admitted to NCH.
He is a sweet, dear man, 90 plus years old, who regularly came to the early service up until a few months back.  I assume health problems.
I do not know the health problem nor his condition, but Marcia Swasey, Barb and I ask that you please put him on the prayer chain. Dear Lord please hear us as we lift up our prayers for Herb.

For my school staff as we go through our five year accreditation's give us peace and strength, Carmella with RSV, far all those dealing with issues of lost souls, Tamy Margerison and family, upcoming SATS, Dick Haisch, Dale Hohman fighting cancer, for Bobbie needs well balance, Hock and Nancy Healing, for all those with out a job, for those struggling financially, Myra's mother Ruth has colon cancer, our prayers for healing, Doctors wisdom the peace of Christ, daughter Linda travelling with 4 little ones on the plane from Boston to Naples, healing for her vertigo and motion sickness, all those with cancer, safe travels for family and friends, my daughter wants to move down here, but she needs to talk to ex husband first, I hope that God will help her on this, for our friend who was the in hospital this week fighting vertigo, for Uncle Craig as he continues his battle with alcoholism and liver problems may he find our Lord and except him as his savior, people losing their jobs, home, for schools and the choices they faced with everyday may they lean on the Lord for his help, Teresa E bone marrow, biopsy this coming Tuesday, Doug W, Pat B, Jim B and Cassidy all with health problems, Danielle, TJ, Jim, Judith, Doris, Patty, Nora, Nellie and family, Carol A, Carol P, Althea, Sue, Barbara, Jennifer, Jessica, Maggie and our youth, Sylvia and Danny, Roger, Christi, Rosemary, Ammi suffering with depression, Chuck, Pam Ambour Rose, Amanda and Alizabeth.

Dear Lord we lift these prayers and all those that go unsaid, hear us Lord.

Thank you Lord for all the good things you give us and that sometimes we forget to say "Thank you"

Thanks be to God for Nora's successful surgery, beauty of God's creations, for a meaningful renewal at First Methodist called "Drawing Nearer to God", for fellowship, friends and family, happiness in work for marriage, Andrews safe return from Afghanistan, for all the programs at Grace Place offers to children and families in Golden Gate City, for healing of outstanding health issues and for our prayer group, Grace Place and ALL the work they do, and for the volunteers and Miss Stephanie, Thank you for my family, having life, having a 3.5 GPA.  Dear Lord Thank you again for all you do each and everyone of us.
