Cornerstone is deeply committed to serving the community and world.  It is our hope that we encourage and motivate others to find the same joy we have experienced in giving ourselves for others.  “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me”

(Matthew 25:40 NRSV).

Habitat for Humanity:  The first Saturday of every month members of Cornerstone gather at the church office to head out to a Habitat work site.   The day begins at 7:30 a.m. and work finishes around 12:00 p.m.  It is a day of good hard work and Christian fellowship.  The work of Habitat gives families with low income the opportunity to own their first home.  At the work site many of the families come to work with those who have come out for the morning. Must be 16 years old to participate.

1^st Saturday – 7:30 a.m. at the church office.

Immokalee Cookout:  The third Saturday of every month members of Cornerstone gather at the community park in Immokalee to prepare and feed over 500 individuals and families.  For many of those who come to the park this might be their only meal of the day.  Roger Roberts coordinates this ministry outreach and is always willing to have others come join along. 

3^rd Saturday – 8:00 a.m. at Immokalee Community Park.

Arroyo Blanco / SisterChurch in Cuba:  Cornerstone is actively involved in a relationship with the Cuban Methodist Church .  Arroyo Blanco Methodist Church is our sister congregation.  Together we pray for one another, share stories, and visit one another when ever it is possible.  Over the past six years Cornerstone has sent over 5 teams to visit in Cuba and we have even had the joy of bringing our sister church pastor and his wife to spend a month with us.

Grace Place Ministry:  Grace Place is an active ministry to children and families in Naples own Golden Gate City .  Under the direction of Stephanie Campbell Grace Place has flourished into a ministry which celebrates after school programs, English as a second language courses, family development programs, after school tutoring, summer camps, and a whole host of other services.  Grace Place is for the whole community and Cornerstone is a part.  Grace Place is always in need of volunteers, prayers, and support.  

Grace Place is part of our extended family in mission.  

School in Haiti:  Cornerstone supports a year round school in Cay, Haiti.  The school in Haiti serves local children and families by providing them with food, clothing, and education.  Cornerstone continues to support this mission and prays for the children who are receiving support.

Serving never ends!  These are just a few of the opportunities we offer at Cornerstone to reach out and connect with our community and world.  While these opportunities are a primary focus for Cornerstone this portrait does not even come close to painting the picture of all that the members of Cornerstone do in their daily lives.  Come on out and share!
